Syncing your Zenpage calendar with Google Calendar, Apple and Outlook
Add your Zenpage calendar's private iCal feed to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, with update delays and privacy rules.

Keeping your appointments in the calendar you already check avoids oversights and double bookings with personal appointments. Zenpage provides a private iCal feed for this, which your phone or email client can read. Here is how to add it, and what to know so you're not surprised.
Where to find the link
Open the Calendars page of your admin. At the top, Zenpage shows three buttons: Google Calendar, Apple and Outlook. Each opens the subscription procedure suited to the app. You don't need to copy the address by hand, unless your app requires it.
Google Calendar
In Google Calendar, add a calendar by URL, then paste the feed address provided by Zenpage. Google refreshes subscriptions at intervals of a few hours, which is enough for consulting but not for an immediate reaction.
Apple Calendar and Outlook
On iPhone, Mac or in Outlook, the procedure is equivalent: add a calendar subscription by its address. These apps refresh more often. After adding, check that a test appointment appears, then delete the test.
The feed is read-only. Always edit your appointments in Zenpage, and consider your external calendar a mirror. Personal appointments that don't concern clients can be added in Google Calendar, but they don't block booking slots.
Protect the link
The feed address gives access to your appointments. Don't share it, don't publish it on your website and don't send it to anyone who isn't you. Zenpage doesn't yet offer a button to regenerate this address: if it has been exposed, report it to the team so they replace it.
And closed days?
To block dates on the client side, use the closed days described in our guide to holidays.
Going further
Sync complements the rest of your organization: a well-configured online calendar, reliable reminders and consistent slots. To know what distinguishes a good online calendar, read our grid of criteria, and see the calendar documentation.
Frequently asked questions
Do appointments created in Google Calendar appear in Zenpage?
No. The iCal feed is a read of your Zenpage calendar: it sends nothing back to Zenpage. A personal appointment placed in Google Calendar must therefore also be entered in Zenpage if you want it to block a slot.
How often do appointments update?
It depends on the app. Google Calendar updates a subscription every few hours; Apple Calendar and Outlook do so more often. A new appointment can therefore take a few hours to appear in Google.
Can someone else see my calendar with this link?
Yes, if you share it. The link contains a token specific to your account: never publish it on your website, in a post or in a group email.
