Keys of a mechanical cash register

Not all clients book online. Some call, others drop by the practice, others come from word of mouth and ask for a date by email. So that these appointments enter your calendar without double entry, Zenpage offers a point-of-sale page. Here is how to use it.

What the point of sale is for

The point of sale lets you record an appointment you make yourself. This appointment joins your calendar, just like an online booking. You therefore use it for any request that doesn't go through your public page, and you keep a single calendar to check.

Record an appointment

Choose the client, or create them if they're new. Select the service, then the practitioner, date and time. If the client gave you a discount code, apply it. Finally, confirm.

Create the client first

A complete client record avoids retyping their details at every appointment, and lets the invoice be named. Get into the habit of creating the record before the appointment, not after.

Payment and invoice

At confirmation, the payment is recorded and an invoice is generated. You can print it directly, hand it to the client or keep it.

Apply a discount

A coupon is entered before confirmation. It is taken into account in the invoice amount. See our guide to promo codes.

Avoid double bookings

An appointment recorded at the point of sale blocks the slot like an online booking. Before confirming, check that the practitioner is free, especially if a client has already booked the same slot on your public page.

Going further

The point of sale fits with the rest of your organization: hours, closed days and locations. See our guide to hours so the point of sale never offers a closed slot. The full documentation is in the Point of sale section.
