Workshops and group sessions: limited places and online sign-up
Create a workshop or group session with a fixed date, capacity, price, location and tickets. Limit sign-ups per person or per participant, step by step.

A breathing workshop, a talking circle or a weekend retreat let you reach more people than an individual session, and make your practice known. But they require finer management: a fixed date, a number of places, tickets. Zenpage offers events for this.
Create the event
In the Events section, create your workshop with its title, description, image, date and location. The location can be one of your consultation locations, or a place you created for the event. Enter the capacity: it sets the total number of places.
Tickets and their limits
Each event is sold in tickets. You set their name, description and price. Two limits protect your capacity:
- Per buyer: one person cannot buy more tickets than the limit set.
- Per participant: useful for a couple or a relative signing up several people, by limiting the number of tickets for each.
Choose the limits according to your audience. An individual workshop should limit purchases per person; a retreat for couples should rather reason per participant.
For a first workshop, offer a ticket at an accessible price and a small capacity. You collect reviews and testimonials, which will help for the following sessions.
Sign-ups
Event sign-ups appear in the bookings. You see the number of places remaining and the number of tickets sold. Once capacity is reached, the event can no longer receive bookings.
Publish the event on your website
Upcoming events appear on your public page. Share the event link in your messages, on your social networks and in your emails. The more visible the information, the faster the places go.
When to prefer a group service
For a recurring session, such as a talking group every Tuesday, a group service is simpler: it fits into your calendar on the slots you open. The event is for one-off appointments. Setting a service's capacity is explained in our guide to services.
Going further
To organize a group that comes back, also think about loyalty: our advice on keeping your clients applies to participants. How events are presented is in the events documentation.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a group service and an event?
A group service is bookable like a session, on your calendar's slots. An event has a fixed date, limited places and tickets. Use an event for a one-off workshop, a service for a recurring session.
Can I limit the number of tickets per person?
Yes. You can set a per-buyer ticket limit, so one person doesn't book all the places, and a per-participant limit, if a buyer signs up several people.
Do events appear on my website?
Yes. Upcoming events appear on your public page, to fill your group sessions.
